Comments: Life and times at The Coven

Looking up at buildings is always good. Fancy stonework, twisted chimnets, odd weathervanes. Down my road there's a cottage with a small ledge let in high up on the wall. On the ledge is a teapot.

Sorry about the trees though.

I feel the same way as you do. I know unhealthy or dead trees must be cut down but it saddnens me to see it.
For your fallen trees:

TREES
I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.

A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the sweet earth's flowing breast;

A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;

A tree that may in summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;

Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.

Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.

I'm sure you thanked the trees profusely for all they'd given you in the past. It wasn't as if you had much choice, now was it?
Have plans to move been filed for the time being?
