long peppers 20p. must go to sainsbury's. save the seeds.
(home made mincemeat with cranberries and no meat)
I didn't think mincemeat pie had meat in it but I found two recipes online. One for "Old Fashion Mincemeat Pie" that had beef and one called "Sweet Mincemeat Pie" that does not.
My husband just walked in and after reading what I wrote said his grandmother used to make mincemeat pie with venison. Yuck!

And a happy FOTCR to you and Mr BW too, Witchy. Have a good time everyone!
e: you are just supposed to eat the chocolate oranges, growing them takes tooooooo long, just buy more: ocal store was doing 3 for the price of 2 the other day so I bought 6, then the daft woman behind the till was so busy talking to her friend that she missed the 6 off button, so when I gave her a £20 note she screwed up the change and pushed it into my hand (whilst still talking) so when I got to the car I worked out that she had only charged me for 1. As it was clearly her not caring enough to concentrate on her job I saw it as her problem and accepted it as a nice Xmas pressy.

Posted by e on 23 December, 2004 at 11:20 AMIf you wait until after Xmas they sell off the snowball chocolate oranges, by far a better fruit discount in my humble opinion.
Posted by Mr BW on 23 December, 2004 at 12:27 PMYes but no seeds in them, Mr BW, You can't grow them...
