It's already in the recycling bag in the garage - full to the top. Pine needles vacuumed up (again) and the dishwasher emptied and kitchen cleaned.

Of course. Paper, card etc all duly recycled as heating fuel. All glass, tin etc recycled in standard way.

But, watch burning too much paper/card in a log burner as it will make nasty tarry gunge on your flue liner which will reduce its viable life... and at the price they are...

We have four bins for recycling but the local council has put an announcement in the newspaper asking us to put the Christmas wrapping paper in with the general rubbish even though we have a bin for paper. I have no idea why.

We recycle daily, BW. We have a bin for cardboard, one for magazines and paper, one for aluminum cans, one for chipboard, and a final one that takes glass and plastics. Anything we recycle is picked up free, otherwise we have to pay to have garbage picked up.
