Quiet?? It was incredibly noisy here, I went out for a walk seeing as the promised monsoon had not arrived, and there was a huge amount of noise coming from every hostelry I passed.

I daresay it was drunken wassailing, Debster. The garden centre was also puzzingly quiet yesterday afternoon, and most of the staff seemed to have their mind on other things. I dunno...People. Maybe they'd all been taken over by some evil super-power, like in Dr Who.
Maybe for a little stroll down Upton Lane? ;-)
