Thanks B... and I've looked again and still can't see where you found the link to that extra info! Mystery Witch Shopper free sugestion to Moo - this needs looking at...
(Edit: OK I've found it now... putting it in the 'help' section in the top bar on the front page is not exactly where one would normally look for more info is it?! I was looking for a 'more info' button on the product page...)
So, in the light of the info in B's link: "Greeting Cards measure 105mm x 148 mm when folded (that's 4.1" x 5.8" if you're from across the pond). They are printed on similar paper to MiniCards - satisfyingly heavy with a nice, smooth satin finish. They're unlaminated inside, ready for you to write a personal message.
My question now changes slightly...
What is the card that MiniCards are printed on like? Photo? Usual greetings cards? Other?
i have no idea what moo cards are...but I can tell you that i collect cards and i keep a stash around the house for, oh you know, occasions, and I was very excited in Wales to find cards made of paper that was created from the remains of sheep poop.
Yup, sheep poop. Turns out their poop is mostly undigested fiber.
So when I read your comment about moo cards I was thinking to myself, perhaps they are printed on paper made of cow poo. Just a thought.
Sorry no information but they do look interesting.
The only greetings cards I've had printed like this were FOTCR ones a couple of years ago by Photobox but they had to all of the same design. As I recall they were not glossy but did look very good.
I haven't tried greetings cards, but I did buy some postcards & mini-cards.
The postcards are exactly like the ones I buy millions of everytime I visit anywhere - decent quality card (not photo-paper) with a glossy high-quality image on one side.
The mini cards are different - much thicker card, with matt printing on each side. The surface of the mini-cards feels a bit like plastic.
I've been really pleased with them, I'll definitely buy postcards again, I think the mini-cards will probably last a lifetime at the rate I'm using them.
(If you want to see for yourself, send a broom & I'll send it back with some samples.)
I have used to moo greetings cards and postcards. The things per inch could be better but its nice quality card as long as you don't have a 'busy' photo - something simple looks better.
