It must have been warmer here yesterday afternoon, as I had to set 2 b33s free after they flew in through the open patio door. I only keep the spring heather in the border outside the kitchen because the early b33s (bumble and hunny) like it, and a very enthusiastic b33 keeper lives just around the corner.
Sorry to hear about the loss of a young purry familiar. Isn't that just how we'd all prefer to go, asleep in our own bed?

You are too quick AQ - I'd missed an & in the html for degrees and corrected it as soon as I noticed, but you must have got to the post seconds after I posted it, before I'd corrected it. Far too keen. How about a new post on *your* blog? ;)
Apologies. Yes, I keep meaning to post but then get distracted. Like just now, when I got distracted by "Jean Genie" on BBC something whilst I was cooking Mike's Special sausages (sorry, not vegetarian, but bloody good) for my daughter. Lucky she likes her food a bit burnt. Years of practice there.

Ohh, I am so sorry to read that you lost one of you kittens. Losing a pet is always a kick in the gut even when the pet dies peacefully in bed. Sending my heartfelt condolences to you.

Are you having an extended Friday the 13th then?
And what temperature exactly is 9#176C?
Posted by allotmentqueen on 16 April, 2012 at 4:14 PMOh no, I shall refrain from counting kittens after they are hatched.
