I've just noticed that there is a wasp in the bees and wax picture - stuck to the LHS of the bucket. Differently shaped abdomen and different colour. But - can you see why so many people confuse wasps and honeybees?

didn't see the wasp. glorious pictures though BW and loving the yarn. do you have a project for it yet? will there be borage honey this year? look forward to seeing what Mr BW brings home;)

Aah, I see! Yes, BW, the wasp is like what stung me, not a honey bee. I call that a bee because over here wasp is a different nasty stinger. Makes more sense now! :)

I love the colours of the skeins of wool. I spotted the wasp, lighter coloured abdomen but they do look very similar. I picked the last of my chillies & tomatoes today & it is very autumnal.
