Comments: Seven Days On

Hear Hear! We do have the rest of the world to trade with and some countries are already making enquiries. With Italian banks looking shakier by the day it could be that Italy is the next crisis for the EU. I don't think the Italians will roll over like the Greeks.
I love it , women clearing up after the men have left a mess!

...and only since she's much more of an honest politician (if that's not an oxymoron) I wish Theresa all the best against slime-ball Gove. Interesting though not surprised to see Boris isn't standing after all....he really didn't think it would go this way, did he?
Fans of previous re-subtitling of a certain "Downfall" sequence may enjoy the latest one as Brois hears the news that he's won the Referendum.

I've got a slogan for him though - it's a winner:

"Vote Gove - Put a c*nt into country!"

Gove - shafted education and now his running mate. The man is a monster.

There are also Kesia Dugdale and the fabulous Ruth Davidson as women party leaders.........

Both too young, both Scottish; won't work Agaless.

And don't forget Leanne Wood.

Ignoring their individual views, as a man (obviously) I am quite optimistic about the rise of the women to the top of the political parties.

I think it could bring a new healthy view, providing they don't think they need to behave like the men they replace to survive.

Now a few more women to dilute the testosterone pool (cesspit?) at the top of companies and banks and we will definitely be heading in the right direction.

Theresa May for PM. And Ham, on this particular question we are 100% in agreement :)

Interesting info about Theresa May from her appearance on Desert Island Discs from November 2014:

Interesting choice of discs too. She'll get the gay vote ;)

Yes I agree they are too young and too Scottish for Westminster. Nicola Sturgeon is also too Scottish though she has the advantage of middle age. One of the weird aspects of this strange time is that it does make me realise how competent the current crop of Scottish political leaders is.
