Plenty of snow in Manchester, and yes, it’s very cold indeed. Lincs and Cambs have even more snow than Manchester, my sisters are snowed in.
I’d stay there if I ere you, much nicer weather :-)

Lots of snow here in Grimsby and it is very cold. Even the cats won't go out. -3 C but with windchill factored in it is -10 C. Woolies and thermals required!

My sister arrived home from India and Singapore nearly six weeks ago and says she hasn't been warm since. -5º here, weather app says it feels like -12º, which seems about right. Mind you, it's also snowing in the South of France.
It wasn't much fun here last week - and would've been worse in your neck of ruralshire, from the look of it.
Freezing and snow all week, but then it's thawed on Saturday/Sunday, and now if you look out, you'd never believe it'd been foot-deep snow three days ago!

If you'd moved to where you nearly moved to you'd be clearing snow from your upstairs window sill. We always get some snow every winter in Northumberland but this years was MEGA. All gone now though, only memories remaining and plenty of twisted ankles (not ours).
