Comments: I need to know...

I'm going down these lines: https://tacticalvote.co.uk/

Which by and large, for me in Glasgow, means vote SNP, and for everyone else, vote Labour.

Basically whatever it takes to get the Tories out. If only it were that simple.

i can't see any reason for tearing up the ballot paper. Spoil it, but the people inconvenienced by clearing up are not the candidates or officials. And it won't even count as a spoiled paper.

It makes no difference whom I vote for in this solid Conservative seat, so even tactical voting won't have any effect.

There is method in my shredding madness... the local papers attend the opening of the ballot boxes. When lots of little pieces of paper fall on the table/floor, there is a story. Spoilt ballot papers are unremarkable. Tiny pieces of confetti aren't.

Tactical voting doesn't work in any safe Tory seats. Our idiot had a 25,000 majority last time... but 24,000 people in the constituency didn't bother to vote.

Tactical voting doesn't work in safe Labour seats either.
