I was just talking this afternoon with a friend about Yarg. But how can you not love Xmas? The lights. The songs. The shopping. All such fun. And orange aeros at Smith's. I had pigs in blankets (24) for lunch and just finishing an aero. And this year a new Gavin and Stacey and Good Omens next month. And soon the snowdrops will be up ... magical.

Happy Solstice, BW! Finally the days start getting longer.
And terribly sorry to hear about your mother. And with Mr BW's mum's partner, you've had a time of it lately...
The red dogwood is spectacular! I've not seen the like around here.
The dogwoods were amazing, you could see them from a couple of hundred yards away.
And at the latest count I would say that 1/3 has now been eaten.
By the way each time I put out the snowman loo roll BW puts it away, for tomorrow. Just how much loo roll she is expecting to use tomorrow I am not sure, but we have 6 rolls.
