Comments: Sheep, cats and cupboards

I've been told that in a few days I can go collecting lamb tails.
In the meantime I think I am off the idea of lamb chops, doesn't seem right.

That is one very different view... but how wonderful to be able to see so far!

Our cat used to try to choose the weather, just as you describe. If he did not like the look of the weather at one door, he would mew to get the other door opened, in case the weather there was any better.

That cliché...4 seasons in one day...was obviously created in Northumberland. Wednesday last week was absolutely gorgeous in our back yard. Are those sheep yours?

Do you get free sheep with every house purchased in Numberland then, Dave? ;)

I assumed they and the field they're gambolling in were yours cos of the proximity to your property.

We don't own the field, or the sheep, and neither are for sale, although we do have an option on renting a corner of the field, albeit at a rent 40 times the going rate. We'll see how much of the tarmac drive area we can dig up.
