Comments: Tuesday - balls up

Sorry to hear about Mummy Mr BW, I hope she feels better or gets some answers soon. My wife has her hands full almost daily with her father and his issues. And she doesn't want to put him in a home somewhere during the pandemic as we may not see him again, for one reason or another. These are among the unspoken victims of this Covid.

They'll be asking about the boom box. Perhaps trade them volume for the homemade snacks?

Thanks Scoakat. From being the most active amongst her (large) group of friends, and always the first one to stand up for her rights, and those of those around her, she's suddenly much less able. She has agreed (at last) to have a cleaner come in regularly.

Normally, after such a stay, social care would fund a care package... but who wants carers going in who have been in 20+ other homes (with goodness knows how many contacts each) in a day? Home Carers, no matter how careful, must be a prime danger for Covid spread. Too risky.

I keep hearing on the radio tales of people who have made the difficult decision to take their relatives out of care homes, for just the reasons you describe.
