No, that should not be normal. Which is why we went to the vaccination clinic run by our doctors (along the same lines as the flu clinic). Hands sanitised, chair sanitised (even though I didn't actually sit down) between every patient. And it didn't hurt at all, and I've had no ill effects. Thanks for asking

That is basic nursing procedure. I run clinics and it doesn't matter how busy we are, hand washing and new gloves every time. Area sanitised every procedure and that was before covid! Absolutely necessary then and especially so now. That is awful.
