How incredibly apt!

Recent events over here have me disgusted enough I can't even discuss it.

It is apt, but I am that sort of annoying person who wonders whether this really is a Turkish proverb. I suspect not. There does not appear to be much evidence for it beyond a few years ago.

But there is a similar saying - “When the axe came into the forest, the trees said, ‘The handle is one of us.’ ”

And an Aesop’s Fable, which relates the trees agreeing to give the woodcutter the ash for his handle, and then bemoaning when he uses it to chop down the other trees. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Woodcutter_and_the_Trees

I always wonder things like that too Andrew. But I CBAT Photoshop the image. It amuses me that Aesop was Greek...
