Well, I guess you are so far north most people (including the inhabitants) probably consider it more akin to Scotland than England.

Wash your mouth out with soapy water Caroline.
The inhabitants are firm in their position as Border Reivers, as happy to kill a few Scots as Brits in their quest to live independent lives and make a few pennies in the process. It is a strange rebellious attitude of independence, definitely not Scots, but not quite English either.

Plenty of hares on my travels at work but sadly plenty of hare coursers /lampers.
The less said about the Plonker Maximus and his merry band of sociopaths, the better or I move into ranting and bad language!
