Functioning does sound like a better yardstick. I'll be 62 this year but I don't consider myself old. Knackered, yes but not old!

Are the southern familiars being relocated north eventually?

I remember when
Child 0-17
Young 18-39
Middle aged was 40-69
Old 70+

But I know a marathon running 72 year old, and my Dad is 77 and uses a mobility scooter, so function is better, although it seems hard on people with long term physical disabilities.
