Glad you are back and hopefully thriving. Starting to worry but also expecting to read in the media about builders disappearing and police baffled!

Caroline - Mr BW spent a week down south last week tidying up the garden and attending to a few general maintenance issues. With the (external, oil-fired) boiler status unclear after the ravages of the winter, we decided to remove the pressure and the cost and not to attempt a partial removal, for the time being. The boiler was fine and passed its service and tests, which was a relief.
delcatto and Sue - well, the builder has disappeared, isn't replying to chasing emails, and so the cheque hasn't needed to even go in the post. Having checked the legal postion we've given up chasing.
