The flower pots are all very old: some inherited from my grandfather, and some from the father of one of my Patchy Ladies (those ones were made in a local brickworks). Mr BW is considering making some wooden 'curtains' for when it is very windy. Given that it is a sheltered corner on a north facing wall, and only north winds will affect it, I don't know if the pots are vulnerable or not.
It looks so much better here than it ever did down south when Mr BW first made it.
