I thought those were two spare Camillas in case she did a runner.

Penny Mordaunt is a Royal Naval reservist, she has been working in the gym at HMS Collingwood and at Parliament to increase her upper body strength ready for yesterday.

There was an excellent show on public t.v. last night that reviewed the coronation, including interviews from the head honchos of military units and what was involved in organizing and having the processions.
Two spare Camillas-hysterical!

I found the whole thing rather dull. I much preferred the funeral.

The BBC coverage from 10:15 to 15:00 was recorded. We have not yet watched it. I spent the whole day preparing to replace part of a fence with a gate!

We booked a holiday abroad some time before the death of QE2, so missed the whole thing.

I watched it all and I loved it. Charles' stress must have been sky high and his mother must have been on his mind the whole day. At least he had the only person who's ever put him first by his side.
The most way-out outfit was Traise Coffee (I know you've got security, but I'll still disguise names). And the other dish of the day, apart from Pen, was the equerry. Cor. I thought Sarah Brown looked all right, but poor CherBlair isn't ageing well.

Avoided the whole thing, happily. And seem to have missed precisely sod-all of importance.
Just seeing some of the sum-ups later on was more than enough, and was sufficient to induce rage at abysmal use of language.
(It blatantly *can't* be a "once-in-a-lifetime" event if you then interview people who've seen at least two! And it certainly won't be the last one for a generation, as the new incumbent is already 74...)
