Yes, the trend to processed foods and ready meals continues unabated. The profit margins are higher, and also I'm convinced many people have forgotten (or never learned) to cook. Looks like I ought to lay in a stock of flour.

Evangelical. Yes, that's definitely the word. I don't care what other people eat, but they don't have the right to tell me what to eat! They are like the JWs discussed a few days ago.

Time to buy some more flour in and possibly some other staples. I'll have lots of time to bake bread and cook which I enjoy. Sadly my son lives on ready meals.
I hadn't realised glyphosate was used for that purpose, something to tell Sue as she is having a bad reaction to bread this past year.
I haven't been in a Lidl or Aldi for some time and shocked to hear how much their prices have gone up by.

Flour has a fairly limited shelf life unfortunately. Some things it doesn't matter but for flour it does.
