Comments: Fresh milk containers

Blobs of suitably coloured nail varnish? Still annoying to have to do it though.

Seems it's only annoying me, then!

Or are the rest of you using trendy dairy alternatives now?

I only buy semi-skimmed so I know what I've got.

(and it never goes in the freezer)

I get gold top delivered in glass bottles

I didn't know that gold top in glass bottles actually still exists!

It's a 27 mile round trip to the nearest place where we can actually buy milk.

While there are cows a couple of fields away, there are definitely no milkmen (and let's not mention that when I put it on a supermarket delivery order the chances of it actually arriving are less than 30%).

Plus they are not dairy cows, so I can't even go and have a quick squeeze.

I started buying 6-packs of long life back in lockdown and have stuck with it. Definitely no dairy alternatives here though.

BW, I just got a pint out of the freezer and it has a blue top - shall I pop it in the post? ;-)

That's a bit of a sore subject, Sue.

I had a very big bag of milk bottles tops: red, green, blue and a few orange. It was one of the things that I did not move up - thinking (having been told...) that there would be plenty more in the future, and they really could be put in the recycling.
