Comments: Colours

I saw signs to the Sculpture Park and thought about it but didn't.

It is lovely, but it is a whole day visit, and I'd strongly advise that you don't go on a day when 3 coach loads of 'locals' are there on free day trips.

I thought I'd go to Lincoln. Went in the cathedral and started to take a few pictures and then it was sung choral evensong. I was listening to that and my phone rang which it does about once a month. Probably a scam call. I silenced it but a stern lady came over and said the service was being live streamed and it was very audible. I ended up having to pretend to be very religious and join in the service and was then too embarrassed to take any more pictures.

I read an article about Olympic kit and it said the athletes can choose from a variety of styles. Which might account for them not looking very "uniform". I'm with you on the skimpiness between the legs. Is it even comfortable - I guess it must be given what they do in them.

I've read that too Caroline, but I still think there could/should be standard colours for particular items of clothing, so that even if the styles were slightly different, the colours could be the same.

It just looks a mess if one member of a team of 4 has a white t-shirt, another a navy, another a blue etc etc. The country names/flags are nowhere near as prominent as in past years either.
