With regard to calendars - no idea. I'm not quite old enough (yet) for people to think I might need one yet.
Mind you, I do buy them for a couple of friends, who bemoaned the fact that no-one bought them any, and they were really useful for organising a family with lots going on.
I do my best to get at least one smart/presentable one, but also at least one stupid/slightly rude one , so they can choose what goes where and so on. This year the Mushroom one ( https://www.amazon.co.uk/Calendar-King-Worlds-Greatest-Mushrooms/dp/B0D88293GL ) has been an absolute star purchase.
