Sorry to inform you that here in Stanmore, London, it was a bit windy with a few showers, but we were out pruning in the garden most of the day. We have a clear blue sky at the moment.

In Norwich we've not had much more than a strong breeze over the last couple of days. Certainly nothing to write home about...

Bright, sunny mild day here currently, previously a bit blowy but not much to be honest. I wondered how you were getting on having watched a video from a couple renovating a property in Ireland I follow on you tube. Wild and dangerous weather. Hopefully you’ll have power back soon.

24 hours on and we have a lovely blue sky crisp winter's day with a light breeze. I've been out feeding the bees and digging out compost to add to the veggie beds ready for the new growing season. Downside is we still have no electricity, but then you can't have everything.

30 hours on and the estimated supply restoration time is now 11pm tomorrow night. I had to phone to ascertain this as we have received no info since yesterday.
The repair job is still 'unallocated'.
"We can put you up in a hotel or send you a voucher for some hot food!" said the woman on the phone. Not helpful.
As Nice Nearest Neighbour said, this is just like a repeat of Storm Arwen and its aftermath, and they clearly haven't learnt a thing about what people in isolated areas need.
Interestingly, the 'line down' problem appears to be in or near the same inaccessible location as it was after Storm Arwen. How about the distribution company invest some money and put those clearly 'highly vulnerable to extreme weather' cables underground? The fibre broadband company managed to put all the fibre cables for the whole area underground in about 3 weeks...
And our energy supplier's usage page is now telling us that there is a problem with our smart meter. Erm no, the problem is that there is no electricity to flow through the smart meter, not that the meter has a problem...

We had horrendous wind and it was especially awful when DH took me to hospital for 7am yesterday and then collected me at 12.30. I went for steroid injections both hope. He had had a tumour removed on his head Wednesday. We are getting our share of NHs splendid assistance. Hope your power is on soon

It was a rather nice day in Dorset.

Finally got above freezing here today, and still only 20 percent of the snow we normally have by now. I'd rather have the cold than the snow, but that will only put us in drought again.
Uneventful in London. I think it rained overnight and the wind might have blown a bit but nothing remarkable. Sorry you've lost your electricity again. It's very remiss of you to keep losing it like this, you must be more careful where you put it down next time !! /s

Sunday however was a different story. It rained so hard for about ten minutes that I genuinely thought that the windows were going to break. Still a horrid day today but I've got to go out in it

In Ireland, we were without power and water for about 12 hours, then it was occasionally intermittent for the next few days (presumably they had to turn it off to make other repairs) but structurally there was no damage, and even my very temporary repairs from storm Darragh survived it
We lost several trees; however, as a %, not a big number
