Can you claim for the fuel used from the electricity company?
Good point about learning from past storms but they never seem to learn.

Joho - no, that's impossible as the generator has to be outside
delcatto - they will reimburse against receipts after a set number of hours - and as we've now had over 80 hours off in 5 separate power outages since 31st December, they owe us quite a lot; but, honestly, no amount of money can make up for the sheer inconvenience

How much fuel for the generator are you allowed to store, and how often do you have to go get more in times like this?
