Your garden looks delightful and well worth the effort you have both put in.

I would just like to clarify that the noted item in the fridge was a mint chocolate malteser slice, bought from a very nice lady in the food tent who had clearly made everything herself with no preservatives (except erm lots of sugar). It was 2/3 the price of the clearly mass produced brownies and slices available from about 20 other stalls around the site, so what could I do but support her. It was so large that I only ate the pointed end of the slice and bought the rest home to be be nibbled over the next 2 days. It was gooooood...

The trees and hedgerows have been wonderful this spring, despite the dry weather. I think that last year's wet winter and spring did them good. Your garden is looking lovely. Sadly, I put weedkiller on the drive and tennis court once or twice a year, there seems to be no other option.

Goat! I would love to have met him/her. What was their name?

It was called "Stupid Lump of Plastic and Malfunctioning Electronics" Dave.
Lovely! Good to see you get a nice spring, if dry. And I'm happy you, for one, had a nice honest day demonstrating.
It's charming that you have a favorite pig :)
