Well, to my surprise, it was 1 hour and 5 minutes after arrival before the concert was first mentioned, and Mr OFBW wasn't wearing The t-shirt on arrival as (apparently) it would have got messed up during a hot journey. I didn't like to point out that with the weather forecast for the next few days, it would surely be more sweaty outside, away from the nice air-con of their car!

That made me laugh as deep cleaning before visitors arrive must be a universal thing.

I hadn’t realised Black Sabbath are still going given Ossian health problems.

It was a huge event and an incredible full day celebration of music. And a nice, appreciative farewell to/for the boys from Birmingham.

I remember visiting a schoolfriend whose mother was very clean in the kitchen and bathroom, but didn't dust or hoover. If I picked anything up in the bedroom, I had to be careful to replace it in exactly the same place - or else do the dusting myself. She didn't care - nor did I, come to that.

A friend told people that city regulations prohibited guests from staying in their newly built ADU more than three days. It was built five years ago. I’ve never stayed there. She confessed recently it was actually her rule-saying it was a city regulation was easier than saying no directly.
