The older we get, the more we are trying to pack in! But I was astonished to tot up that we have been away for 258 nights since 1 March 2020. And there are another 35 planned for this year.
It doesn't seem so long since you moved. Glad you are now happily settled!

I haven't a clue how many days away I've spent. I don't keep records and have the memory of a goldfish (is that demeaning of goldfish, I dunno).

On the computer, if all dimensions scale proportionately, a 14" screen will have an area about 50% more than an 11.5" screen - i.e. (14/11.5)^2. Just like a cake or a wheel. That may largely explain why the new one weighs about 50% more.
I doubt the thickness has also increased proportionately, but if it did, that would be a volume increase of just over 80%.
I've been away on family holidays in the UK, and visiting my son on his university year abroad in 2022/3 as part of his languages degree, and for various work reasons, in the UK and overseas. Not very much in 2020 - despite "eat out to help out" - or 2021, but more from 2022 onwards.

Since June 2020 we have spent 364 Nights on ships (ocean and river cruisers). I haven't kept total for nights spent away from home on tours, suffice to say we have been away another 21 nights so far this year.
