I am now an expert in the intricate design of Zebedee.
So, here's a supplementary question. How many different Zebedees were there in the original 1960/70s series?

I was trying to think of astronomical anniversaries, Zebedee and the Magic Roundabout never occurred to me.

The thing I find most amazing about The Magic Roundabout is that it was originally made in French, and Eric Thompson (the English) narrator had no idea what the script/plot was. He made up the English version from scratch, simply watching the films in silence!
Tim: there is an interesting article in next week's Radio Times interviewing the French creator's wife and showing the links all the way through to The Herbs and Paddington. Entirely coincidental to me finishing Zebedee this week.
