Comments: Autumn update

BW has done an amazing job with the bulbs. Aside of the bulbs direct into the ground, she planted up nearly 30 pots in the last few days with a carefully choreographed layering of bulbs and pansies to give what I know is waiting quietly to be a spectacular Spring show.
The garlic and early onions are already shooting. Spring is on it's way...

Sorry, not familiar with Zebedee over here. But I can't wait to see the flower beds you are grooming, come spring. The iceberg roses sound interesting, I'll have to see if they grow over here and can survive our winters.

We've had the heat on here and there recently, but it may be staying on starting this week.

Scoakat - look up 'Magic Roundabout' and give yourself a treat. Iceberg roses come as shrub/bush and as climbing forms. The former are nothing special, but the climbing ones are great - and hardy to Zone 10 apparently.

Looks like the Hummingbird hawk-moth (Taubenschwänzchen) to me, saw one in Munich in 2023.

The only trouble with Iceberg is that it doesn't really smell.
