I'm relieved to see you back. I thought the website had died as it wasn't accepting new comments.
Oh the embedded obsolescence. What a posh term. To be honest I didn't know rechargeable batteries were more environmentally friendly, but then I rarely use batteries (except for my hearing aids).

I have a couple of battery chargers that must be the best part of 30 years old, and still functioning, touch wood.
