Blimey! You have workmen problems even when they aren’t on your property.
34°C here today but cool within the house. Poor cats are flaked out in shady spots and we’ve made sure we have plenty of ices. I hope your water is back on.

We've been flooded! The most concentrated rain I've ever seen outside North America. It came in through all 3 outside doors. I think we should carry out that work on the partially blocked drainage channel at the bottom of our sloping drive!

delcatto - I think that is indicative of the quality of all workmen in these parts!
Darren - we had that too - a tropical storm (with probably the same cause as a tropical storm). Just after the electricity came on again after over 10 hours off - and it then promptly went off again! This morning we currently have both water and mains electricity, so I have every appliance that pulls more electricity than the generator can supply running, because it surely won't last.

I'm slow off the mark. Pleased to see you back blogging. I'll resume checking you after DG

God, that sounds awful. Hope your water situation fixes up soon enough. The sorbet sounds delicious, though!
